Are Marini SkinSolutions products cruelty-free / sustainable / safe?
Yes, Marini SkinSolutions (formerly Jan Marini Skin Research) skincare is all of the above. We have never tested on animals and as Marini SkinSolutions labs are Current Good Manufacturing Practice compliant under the FDA, it means audit and oversight by federal regulators are the equivalent standard to pharmaceutical manufacture. This substantially raises the quality level of our products and ensures they are as safe for human use as they can be. It means that product integrity is based on science, rather than marketing.
Our new packaging is fully sustainable. It is manufactured in the USA from recycled materials and is itself fully recyclable. Most skincare comes in packaging made from different grades of plastic which is often sourced from jurisdictions which do not regulate packaging manufacture. Because these final products are often made from different grades of plastic, they are not always recyclable. If products are packaged in dark coloured plastic, they are never recyclable as the infrared filters at sorting facilities can't detect it, so it goes straight to landfill.
Marini SkinSolutions has made the commitment to a more circular cosmetics economy, using fully recycled and recycable, single-grade, light-coloured containers.

How can I be sure that the products I am purchasing are authentic?
We occasionally receive enquiries from people who have purchased “Jan Marini” products from offshore or local discount e-commerce stores, only to find the product is the wrong consistency or texture, is unboxed or damaged, or is almost expired. We cannot support purchases from Amazon, eBay, strawberrynet or other retail platforms as they are not authorised resellers and do not meet the clinical criteria required by Marini SkinSolutions. Where they source their products is unknown.
Marini SkinSolutions HQ invests considerable resources protecting its brand and international distributors through sophisticated technology. We are only able to guarantee the authenticity of products purchased on https://mariniskinsolutions.au and through our authorized stockists and clinic partners. We are not able to process returns or exchanges or otherwise assist with orders placed through third party retail platforms.
